This coldplate is designed to chill your beverages quick. It works best with cubed ice resting on it. Nugget ice and crushed ice will crust and bridge over it and not make good cold contact resulting in flat and warm soda. Also it is highly recommended not to place the top of the coldplate any lower than 16” inside your bin. This will avoid your ice from freezing over the plate and forming a gap. Resulting in the best carbonation.
