This high quality, yet heavy duty cold plate fitting is made of pure 304 stainless steel. The 1/2”-16 male flare threads into any standard cold plate and requires a 5/16” flare washer (part#04E04-290). The sharp barbed teeth grab the flex line fimly and tight without slipping. 3/8” clamps are still required. You can use a 14.5, 15.7 or 17.0 clamp on all 3/8” barbs.
